Oral presentation instructions
For oral presentations, the Speaker will have a laptop, LCD projector and screen, and remote controller on disposal.
All lectures will be presented using the Windows operating system and MS PowerPoint for PC. If your presentation has been created using software other than MS PowerPoint for PC (for example: OpenOffice, PowerPoint for MAC, or Keynote) please make sure your presentation is converted to MS PowerPoint for PC. We suggest you review your presentation on a PC running MS PowerPoint before attending the Symposium.
All videos must be placed in the same folder as your MS PowerPoint file. We suggest you put the video in the PowerPoint presentation itself.
Video and Audio applications supported are:
MPC (Media Player Classic)
Windows Media Player
Presentation font, design, layout: all the ones installed with Microsoft (MS) Office PowerPoint for PC are supported
All presentations will be projected in a 16:9 format landscape, not 4:3.
Recommendations: your presentation will have better visibility if using high contrast colors when making presentations (light text and dark background or v.v.), a maximum of 8 lines per slide, and a font minimum size of 24.
Presentations that have been created using either Excel, Word, or Prezi will not be accepted.
The use of personal laptops or tablet devices, such as iPads, for presenting in the session rooms will not be permitted. If you do need to use a specific device, please contact the PCO via e-mail at info@adria-congress.com.
Speakers are kindly requested to provide their final version of the presentation at least 2h before their presentation slot or session.
All presentations are to be in English.
Back up: please bring a copy of your presentation and all its assets along with you, in a folder, copied on a USB memory stick.
